Famous for it's historic fishing port and Oysters, Whitstable is situated on the north Kent coast of England and is an old coastal town with a bohemian, laid back atmosphere with plenty to do and see. The old high street has great shopping with unique local shops, café's and bars and just around the corner is the working harbour where you can enjoy the catch of the day or simply watch the activities going on. Golf, water sports, tennis and beach life are minutes away and the oyster festival is the highlight of the year. A short drive from Canterbury, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and great shopping, we are near the ferry ports if you fancy a trip to the continent, or arriving, and there are good train and road connections to London-only an hour away.
